I called the HBS admission office today to learn about the waiting list position. They said so far only 4 girls were offered a place from the waiting list. My daughter's waiting list position is in the top 20, she was in Band A, therefore, I was wondering if there is any realistic possibility that she could be offered a place soon. Does anyone have any knowledge as to how the movement takes place or any information about the 2018 waiting list and how many girls were taken from the list? Please share your thoughts.

I am delighted that HBS called me yesterday to offer my daughter a place there. Her position on the waiting list was 33. I think it's moving faster now. Thanks all. Your comments here helped a lot.

Today Easter holiday start. I am worry about no movement of W/L. Are they doing admission on holidays or need to wait after 23rd of April?

If the school manages the waiting list itself, be prepared for nothing to happen for two weeks. If Barnet manages the waiting list for the school, then one would expect the admissions team there to be working as usual. Does it say on the school / Barnet website?

For HBS pupils the term doesn't end until Tuesday 9th April, so there is still a possibility of some movement this side of Easter.
