Retaking year 12 - 6th form recommendations
Just thought you may be able to help with recommendations.
My DD had a serious medical operation early in the year, she was also unhappy with her subject choices and she still had almost the maximum predictions for A levels. She decided to switch her subjects to Physics and Maths and retake year 12. With the grade inflation, the applications that she made for 6th form did not work out.
We live in Hertfordshire, we are looking for a 6th form college in Hertsmere, St Albans, Welhat or Barnet Council that have had some A/A* 2019 results in Physics and Maths and would be able to offer these subjects. If not, we may need to supplement with tuition.
It seems some colleges may have to put extra classrooms to honour their conditional offers. We thought that maybe this could help her and any information about good options here or via PM would be very appreciated.
