Re: QE 2020 test result for 2021 batch
I simply read DG's response ("It will be..") as a fact rather than opinion and wondered if she'd asked QE. It would not surprise me if QE has already received numerous emails/calls regarding this very question.mad? wrote: One would hope that no school was giving information in a clandestine manner to anyone, so I'm sure it must be based on previous experience or something in the public domain. If there is any other explanation the school's integrity would be seriously called into question.

Re: QE 2020 test result for 2021 batch
QE had the date of 5th October on their website until last week as the day parents could start booking the tours.
The tours have only ever been available once results have been received as only boys with scores higher than 220 were offered the tour last year.
But this date has been removed from the website and no date has replaced it and the tours have been cancelled.
This would seem to indicate that there is not yet a date that can be stated until late sitter dates have been finalised.
I have never contacted QE by phone, letter, email or in person! DG

Re: QE 2020 test result for 2021 batch
Thank you for this update. I even expect the results may come out on 2nd Oct itself, if the remaining number of late sitters are less than 20/25. In worst case, the results may be released on 9th Oct as QE has a tradition of keeping Friday as the result day. That will cover the kids who were on isolation on 22nd Sept (last day of actual tests), who will be able to write the test latest by 6th October. All other kids should be able to write the test earlier than that.Libbykot wrote:In 2018 my son was a late sitter. He sat the test on October 1st and the results still came out on October 5th as planned. I’m sure the computer programme won’t take long to calculate the results.. but who knows.. no pressure to release the results as they are no longer inviting the boys to visit.
Re: QE 2020 test result for 2021 batch
Most likely the result should be out this Friday but let's see. A handful of late sitters are unlikely to wreak havoc on the standardization algorithm. Anyway, all late sitters should also get their scores well before the 31-Oct deadline, so not sure what the fuss is about. Some schools/councils have not even decided an exam date

Lowest score to get in this year was 229.
Total possible score is 141 Maths, 141 English total 282.
Very very exciting if results arrive tomorrow.
Did you hear this from QE directly? DG
