Thank you, hope it will trigger some more movement elsewhere such as Latymer and DAO. DG

WL is now at 22 and the score has now reached 233. DG

The WL has now moved to 23. This is only 1 position from last month. Seems like there is very little movement. Is this normal compared to previous years at this point in the year ?

Re: QE BOYS lowest score to secure a place on Monday 1st Mar
All the lists are very very slow.
It could be parents worried about their jobs holding onto state and private school options. There is no mechanism to stop them doing this right up to the first day of Y7 when they actually can't turn up at two schools at the same time.
I think it is likely that DAO has only actually offered 2 spaces but it seems like more as many of the unique ranks are not really there as DAO was a lower preference on the CAF to QE, HBS, ST Ms and Latymer.
The economy is reporting to be picking up so many those who wanted to go to private school might become brave enough to let their state selective places go. DG

Gosh, I checked just a few days ago and it was 25.
I wonder if it has reached 232 yet? DG

The DAO academic ranks have moved another 2 places from 101 to 103, still 20 down on last year.
Rank 104 put QE first, so is no longer on the list, so if there is another movement it will be 105,or further, if 105 is not there.
Since allocation day on March 1st the academic ranks have moved 18 places from 85 to 103, music ranks have moved just one place from 14 to 15 and distance places have moved 29.59 metres from 402.06 to 431.65.
The QE list has also just moved, these two lists are always linked, QE has now reached waiting list place 25. DG
