In fact almost 2/3 of the offers this year and last were made to those outside the priority area.
I wonder what percentage of the reduction in applicants is due to a misunderstanding about the new catchment area.
This was only the second year of it. DG

Its very strange how this school (HBS) manages to keep all these results data, scores, waiting list etc so closed to their chest.
A transparent system will help parents make decision a lot better on National Offer day (1st March). At least publish results/scores and overall waiting list to allow parents to make an informed decision! All other schools provided individual scores way before 1st March.
We now have to wait for Freedom of Information data to unearth transparency. Yes its a top school no doubt but a transparent and honest feedback on results/waiting list etc will be very helpful.
