Continuing Interest Query

Post by Tarajisifa »

Hello all,

Just wondering:

*If you want to be considered in the second round of Continuing Interest for schools you had initially not put down, should you put them down in order of preference or in order of highest likely (by distance or academic results)? Does one way disadvantage the other, or they will be considered equally?

*If a place does come up and you get contacted, do you get a two week period or so like with the first allocations to accept or reject? Which leads to my next question. . .

*The moment you get an offer from the CI list, do you automatically and instantly lose the place you initially had to accept after offer day?

Thanks.

There is a good explanation for CI in Herts here https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/servic ... rs.aspx#CI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you are based in another LA you will need to check the admission rules they apply.

This rule is universal across all LA’s and at all stages of the admissions process!
Always list schools in your true order of preference.
