Order of practice papers

Post by exam2019 »

Hi

Doing final prep for Latymer Part 1.
Can anyone advise on order of difficulty of different papers?

I’ve got a handful of different publishers.
What order is best to work through for increasing difficulty?
And are any of these close to the difficulty level of the real exam?

Maths:
Bond
The Tutors
Latymer Old Past Papers
GL Pack 1
Letts

VR:
Bond
GL Pack 2
The Tutors
Walsh

Thanks in advance

I would say better to avoid Bond papers.

Maths + VR

CGP (10 min + standard GL)
Letts (10 min + standard GL)
GL assessment pack 1 and 2
First past the post GL papers (you can find in current forum shop)

VR only

Walsh (3 parts)
IPS (Diff 20 Min test)
Susan Daughtrey GL (ideally standard 21 types)

Bond are designed for Bucks and Kent, both 11 plus regions with lots of grammar schools so pass mark is very low.

Latymer past papers are excellent but not MC.

You could do those now and then MC maths just before the exam.

For VR
Walsh and SD harder than IPS

Which slot do you have?

Thanks - bit late to squeeze in any more practice as we're on for Friday and winding down now.
Best of luck to anyone else sitting this week.
