Yes, the Admissions team continue to contact people over the summer.

There has been no movement since July.

If that's really the case, I'm amazed.

I know the website still says "WL has reached 22", but in the past that line was removed during the summer hols. So it may be the case that it's been left on this year but not updated since July.

Have new QE year 7 parents heard any reports of no-shows when school started?

QE has not offered any seats after WL 22 as I know the boy with WL 23 and still waiting to hear from the school.

That is very unusual. I guess it's possible that a boy took the exam, did well but submitted a very late application and moved towards the very top of the waiting list. As parents aren't issued with revised waiting list positions, they wouldn't know if a place was allocated to such a late applicant.

I suspect that is likely when it comes down to v small numbers
