WL 37 was offered today and they have accepted the place. So 36% of the places offered on allocation day March 1st have now been turned down. At QE it is 9% and at DAO it is 17%. QE has still only moved one mark. Last score to get in on March 1st was 235 and it is still on 234.

I does seem quite a high figure but am just wondering if it really means that 36 girls offered on March 1st have turned down places ? It could be that as they went along offering places to girls on the waiting list some decided that they were happy with what they had got and decided not to change at this stage, so more than one offer had to be made for each vacant space?

It does feel likely at this stage that it's people on the waiting list turning down places rather than people actually at the school deciding to go somewhere else, but it still means a lot of people have thought, do I want to go to HBS? And decided no, I'll stay where I am.
