Ds has an allocation for Wilson's. Still slightly shocked.

Thank you to everyone on this forum for your advice and support. As a mum, I couldn't have done this without you. Very pleased for ds, he worked so hard.

(Actually, I really want to gush about this site but I'm scared of coming across too Gwyneth Paltow-ey.)

Well done pusyparent + ds.

Any other S. Londoners out there?

Well done to you and your DS who have been offered a place at Wilsons!! My friend's DD has passed and will be going to Nonsuch (and she lives in Sutton!!).

Well done to all the parents who have received the good news this morning.

Hi sunnymummy and anadyomene
congratulations
our DS got the first choice Graveney (although we are wondering if to ask to be put on the waiting list of Wilson's)

PS
also Jake R got a place at Wilson's (the four of us are neighbours or near-neighbours)

Graveney would have been our nearest school had we not been priced out of Tooting 10 years ago and got forced to move to Sutton :-)

Worth waiting for Wilson's too - last year one of the boys from my kids school was offered place there but opted for scholarschip at Whitgift.

We have until 16/03 to send confirmation letters.

Giulio - If you or ds are still interested in Wilson's, you really should 'phone them up and put his name on the waiting list. By all accounts, it moves and your ds will be near the top, if not at the top.

That said, we were in two minds as to the Wilson's/Graveney question - and still are. In fact, we're going to have a talk about it this evening. There is much to be said in favour of Graveney. It's an amazing school, with an outstanding music department.

I've mislaid your e-mail, so if it's OK with you, I'll try and P you later ... ?
