Our own School
How about we set up our own school in the Watford/Rickmansworth area for all the children who didnt get their choice of school and clubbed together to hire a teacher. Then we could put up two fingers at this ridiculous unfair system !
Know its a pipe dream but hey I need something to keep my spirits up!

Sounds like a plan, check this out for inspiration....

you could use the ex Langleybury site, it makes me so sad to see it sitting there wasting away, surrounded by that lovely scenery

Great !!
I can see a new school appearing .... we have already got a site identified, now we need some teachers .... there must be some on this site looking for a new challenge????
The non teachers ?? well they'll need some governors - plenty of sensible people on this site.
Now ... a name for the school?

Whats going to be our admission criteria!!!!
Admission criteria ?? tricky - could start with membership of EPE?
Funding - some schools have been set up as private schools but with fees that can be reduced by gifts in kind from parents eg gardening / doing the accounts / cooking..... fees can be kept lower by reducing fancy facilities.
