Very Quiet in Here...is no-one starting to have the jitters?

Post by EmeraldE »

Hi All

I am not in the game of encouraging the colly-wobbles but am I the only one thinking "OHHHHH, it's getting CLOSER!!!!!!!" ?

Are we all just getting our heads down and working our DCs hard?

are you talking of the big nasty coming up in November?
Jittering like crazy if I'm honest. It's worse second time round (apart from for Tolstoy!) but having had a year off and now knowing what's at stake, I should be rake thin through anxiety. Naturally I'm not.

This is my first time round and I have no real idea how DS1 will measure up. I have DS2 to go as well next year so I am hoping to be able to judge how well he may do based on DS1's performance this year!!

I wonder if this is a formula for the anxiety levels...perhaps??

VR + DS = S + A (+ Nov = S+A to the power of 99)

Verbal Reasoning + Son = Stress + Anxiety etc

Marvellous!

You are in the exact position I was in last year EmeraldE.

For me DS1 was always going to be trickier than DS2, who is more competative and who I knew would respond better to having me as a teacher ( bonus CATS scores as well I found out recently) so for me yes definately easier this year with the extra knowledge of what is needed. So no panicking yet, mind you it is still early days.
