watford consortium test score
Can anyone let me know what sort of % a score of 253 in the watford consortium tests would be?
many thanks !
many thanks !
As the 253 score is a sum of the standardised scores from the VR and Maths papers it isn't possible to work out what percentage was scored in each individual paper. The maximum standardised score for each paper is 141 so a child could have got 141 in VR (ie full marks) and 112 in maths for a total of 253 (or 126 in VR and 127 in Maths...)
Also the standardised score is dependent on the age (in years and month) of the child sitting the test. So a child aged 10 years 10 months would have to get a lower raw percentage in the test than a child aged 11 years 6 months to get a standardised score of 253.
From the admission stats sticky a score of 253 and above would have been achieved by only 3.9% of children sitting the tests. So it's an extremely good score.
