Rough guide for pass marks
Could anyone give a rough percentage figure that should be attained, in order to have any chance of passing.
My daughter with little practice has been getting 85-90%.
Currently in the process of giving tuition and tips.

Hi NorthLincs and welcome,
It is not easy to answer this one without knowing a bit more. Practice tests vary a bit in difficulty. A very rough guesstimate seems to be that about 75% correct would usually get you a pass in the real thing (though you need to take into account that the figure will vary with the child's age and the difficulty of the exam). However, many schools allocate on score order and then you may need more than the basic pass to get a place. 85-90% sounds quite healthy with the rest of the summer still to go!
