How much does it cost.....

Post by hermanmunster »

... to have a child at University?

OK so there are fees - 3K?

accomodation - how much are halls of residence now?

Entertainment / clothes / books ?

When I went I just got my grant and managed on that - don't how they worked out the amount but it seemed OK. Just no sure how much I am going to have to budget for DCs!

Catered, ensuite - £1700 a term this year (31 weeks)
Mind you, it's like a hotel

Loan doesn't cover it

Fees something around £3400, I think.
No money left for entertainment

Sorry misled you there, I think the fees we are paying are £3225 per year, so maybe there's enough for a pint at the weekend
