Tomorrows test

Post by Shelly8 »

Hi,

Just to wish "best of luck" to everyone whose child is taking tomorrow's test.
I just wish that DD finds it easier than the 1st one.

What a relief it will be once it's all over:)...or maybe not, until the 20th of November.

Hi All

Just sent DS up for a nice relaxing bath after just glancing over tomorrow's possible question types. He's pretty relaxed about tomorrow. Although he has just said 'What if I'm one mark out?!'. I am like you Shelly8 - just can't wait until 20th November now!! Not that I like wishing my life away!!

Best of luck to all your DSs and DDs.

Best wishes as always.

Wishing all your DD/DS's the best of luck for tomorrow. :D

My DD seems much happier about sitting the test tomorrow. Now she's sat one test and knows what it really 'feels' like, seems more ready for this one!

Let's hope all our DD/DS's come home from school smiling :D

Conversation from earlier today driving from school

characters me = me, zoob = ds, snoob = zoobs girlmate

me 'so zoob how are you feeling about tomorrow'

Zoob ' i was talking to snoob about the 11+'

me 'oh yeah'

zoob 'she asked me if i was worried about tomorrow, I said i should be but i feel ok because of all the practising I've done. She said she was not so worried as last week and also she has been doing loads of practicing with her mum, she said she got 71 on a walsh paper so she must be really smart.'

me (thinks) aaah that is nice; mutual respect, peer support what nice children.

zoob ' there was one weird thing about her mum though'

me 'huh'

zoob 'she told me not to tell anyone'

me 'oh ok'

zoob 'but i'll tell you (shocked whispering voice) apparently her mum goes on this forum thing and talks to other mums and dads about the 11+ and even asks abouts question and codes and stuff.'

me 'no..'

zoob 'yep really she asked me if you or mum had been on the forum but don't worry dad i told her you would never be as sad as that'

me ' hay look chip shop'

zoob 'cool'

Thank goodness for that, all over with, just got to wait for the results now.

DS seemed to think this paper was more difficult than the first, but lots of his classmates thought this paper was easier than the first! will just have to wait and see. Roll on Nov 20th.

Relief, it's all over now.

DD found this paper easier than the 1st, she says she had enough time to go back and check all her answers. In the 1st one she ran out of time, and guessed quite a few.

Now the long wait until the 20th of Nov!
