Yes. Only reiterated info that has already been listed on another thread from '******' site, concerning numbers who took exam and 'may' be left without a place because of the increase of OOC children.

I don't see how at the school of my choice, an OOC student can get a place unless there are vacancies after the catchment area has been taken care of. Last year nobody got into this school from our area, as the 'distance in a direct straight line' puts us at the furthest part of the catchment area, and application numbers were too high. I'm fully prepared for the appeal when DS doesn't get a spot. Unfortunately, the other priority which is higher than location is 'sibling at the school', and my eldest is currently year 13.......and refusing to fail a course so that his little brother can attend!
