DR offer or Pates waiting list ?

Post by tolkein »

My DD1 is on the Pates waiting list (151) and has passed for DR. Does anyone know how many tend to get into Pates from the waiting list ? I know it varies from year to year.

Any historical figures much appreciated !

WHich school do you want?

Put down the school you prefer.

If Pate's and you dont get it then it doesn't harm your chances of another school.

Pates only qualifies about 160 and others tend to qualify 280 or so so they do tend to go close to teh end of their waiting list - I think the year before last (when I was following it more) they went to 139 - though I may be wrong.

Basically - go for it. Put it down if you want it and then you might get it.
