We might be moving near this school and need to transfer.

What is it like? What is the new Head like?

As a parent of a Year 7 (i.e. just two terms to base it on), my son is having a great time.
There is a sense of pride in the history of the place, but also plenty of plans to keep the school up with the times.

There are tours every month, so I suggest you get yourself on one, and have a good look around.

New head seems switched on.

Thanks - nice to hear from someone who has got children there.

I was concerned about the Head as I'd heard he had withdrawn from a Headship he was going to take elsewhere - good to know he seems OK.
