Snowed in and Burnt out!
Not as dramatic as thread name suggests!! Referring to son's (and my) feelings re KES on Friday. Neither of us can drum up any enthusiasm for work so he will sit that with virtually no preparation. How is everyone else faring?
We had a email from the school that tv crews will be there filming for bbc. Presumably for the prog that's mentioned on the homepage here. They've already filmed one grammar on test day, apparently. That' s getting up an hour earlier to make myself presentable "just in case!"
Also had a an email from LEA re a pilot scheme to text parents with results on 1st March... I've agreed to take part.. anyone else had this?
Best Wishes to all those who are sitting this and other ind. exams soon.

DC been to school once - yesterday - this term and I am finding keeping going increasingly difficult. Exam on Sat and 2 at end of month. Luckily made choice of schools fairly late so have not been at it for that long. Goodness knows what it must be like if you prepare for years!
Snow meant to clear and weather be much warmer by end of week - butcher told me this today - so getting to exams should be OK.
Getting DD surprise present for after exams. Thanks to this forum, reminded that should be rewarded for all work etc rather than result.

My hat goes off to you Clarendon, I can't believe we went through this, this time last year with our girls, I remember counting down the weeks from Jan to march 2nd. I feel like I am still in recovery mode! wishing you & your son all the very best this year, & hope your daughter is enjoying secondary school.
