Which Grammar School is better in Slough
My son is in year 5 and we live in langley. I have started doing ground work as my son will be writing his 11+ (hoping he will get enough marks to secure a place)
Can someone suggest me how the below schools are ranked in slough
langley grammar school
hershel grammar school
slough grammar school
I am happy to send my son to any school and it does not need to be LG though we live walking distance to LG
I am looking for more of sports and extra curricular activities and even happy if academics are little poor but if the school is good in sports
My family's perception is that HG is good in terms of sports and other activities
Please throw some light

Sorry I am a little late replying.... but I missed this one earlier.
I am afraid that my Ds is not into sport so cannot comment on Slough Grammar..... tehy do a wide range but do not have an astroturf so the facilities are not as good as Herschel. I have heard that Herschel is good on the extra curricular. I don't have any info on Langley.
Hopefully someone will be along with boys in those schools.

school best for sports..
My boy is in Slough Grammar Yr 7. During the first term they had teams in cross country, badminton and rugby. This term it seems to be just football. Next term it's cricket.
They play against other local schools.
He can also play ping pong one lunch time (for fun).
However the school is incredibly academic in my opinion. His sister goes to St. Bernard's and either she doesn't complain so much or he does really get three times the amount of homework and test, tests, tests all the time!!!!!!!!!!!
May be of some use to you.
