St Olaves Englis Format

Hello Every one, our son is curerntly in Year 5 and will be sitting st Olaves 11+ exam latter this year. We're not too sure about the format of their English paper. On their websit it mentions that the paper includes verbal reasoning as well. Apart from this is there an essay the boys have to write? Also do they have to do a comprehension exercise? We have no clue really. If your son has done the exam kindly let us know what his experience was like. Although we're nine months away we are quite worried as we hear its a very difficult school to get in to. Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

My son sat the exam and we think he's in this year. He said there was a comprehension- muitiple choice, I think and a story based on newspaper cuttings about a disaster in the future. Some of the vocab was quite tricky but I got the impression the maths exam was harder. A copy of one paper comes with the prospectus but it's pretty different so wasn't much help preparing.
