Might be quiet but doesn't mean we are not counting every minute till D-Day
Other areas seem to differ but am I right in saying its the postman on 2nd March which we are all waiting?

Unless it's the email on the Monday evening!
It'll be my turn waiting next year.
Wishing all those waiting all the best!

If your DC is placed on a waiting list for a school - will this be communicated in the email or will this only be in the letter that follows?

I can't be sure because I haven't been in this position, but I would think so. Last year, our offer email gave details of the status of each of our preferences: 'Preference 1...Place offered. Preference 2...Discard preference'.

I'm afraid that when I went through this two years ago I was out of catchment - so I was dealing with a different LEA. Next year, I hope to be in a much stronger position to offer advice.
Good luck Warks - not long to go now.

Yes I tried the Leicestershire site too, just in case.
