re test papers

Post by chelmsford dad »

im assuming there is no way you can ever look at their papers to see what they got right and wrong, is the reason for this in case anything is challenged ? as i cant really see what harm it would do otherwise? and would great to see out of interest

thought so but i would have thought most of the answers would be clear cut , when can you see the actual papers for the first time?

The CSSE has the maths and english papers available now.

I think there would be parents disputing what their DC had written/intended to write in the maths and english papers (eg it's a 6/0, what constitutes "own words" etc) if the scripts were released. The VR answers probably wouldn't be controversial but they don't even release the actual question paper for that!

In the case of a remark the papers are examined by the school on your behalf. So a different person from the one who marked it will at least read it.
