PM Question

Post by sherry_d »

I have some pm messages I send out and they are sitting in my outbox and not the send messages. Does this mean my messages havent been sent or is it the people havent opened my messages? :?

Hi sherry_d,
If they're in your outbox, I think it means whoever you have PM'd hasn't picked them up yet, once they do they will move to sentbox.

Also if your sent box is 100% full then they won't send and if their inbox is 100% full then it will remain in your outbox.

I thought that too, but apparently that is incorrect.

1. If a message is still in your Outbox it means that the recipient has not picked it up yet.

2. If your Inbox (or any other PM box) is full, new messages can still be put in it. The oldest messages will simply be automatically deleted.

3. PM boxes can fill up to beyond 100% but there is a point (probably around 120%) when the auto-delete function above kicks in.

HTH?
