dds travelling from shenfield to CHS

Post by 3 to go »

Does anyone else have a dd starting at Chelmsford in September?
Will they be travelling on the train from Shenfield to Chelmsford?

We live in Romford and have a very excited daughter who will also be starting at Chelmsford in September, however I don't feel she is confident/independent enough to get the train yet so she will be travelling by coach, sorry.

My DC no longer travel, but be assured that Shenfield is packed with CCHS/KEGS children. It is such a short hop on the train (8.02-8.12am) and then a short, well trodden walk to school.

I did a dry run with mine and accompanied them on the first day, when only year 7 attend. We met other children, all looking nervous, on the train and DS is still great friends with one of them.

My children no longer take the train as we moved to Chelmsford, but they do miss the social side of the journey.
