Looking for help/hope/amything!!

Does anyone have any idea how many boys get in from waiting list on average. Does anyone know of any child who's done this previously.

My son had place at MGS but wants AGSB as most of his friends are going there. We are out of area ad are near top of waiting list.

Have you turned your MGS place down?

I know of one other in a similar position to yourself, he scored 350, so at least you are b4 him :)

I think that after the 22nd March you will have a better idea and Trafford LEA will be able to accurately tell you where you are on the list

Don't turn the place down!

You will get a better idea of the waiting list after the first round of aceptances - there is often some movement on waiting lists them Also places can become available as people move / opt for an alternative school.

What have the school said to you about the list?

Can't you phone the school for an indication, because that seems very harsh when they must know by now who is and who isn't coming.

It is worth trying the school direct as they are only dealing with their replies. Trafford LA have a several thousand responses to deal with, and may be chasing up parents who have not responded. So even though yesterday was the deadline, the LA will be working on confirming details.

To drag it out, many of the LA employees will be on holiday over Easter.

The school said they might now by the end of the week. I'll try them.

Thanks for your replies.
