Can we have a World Cup/ Tour de France Section?

Post by marigold »

Well,
I know at least one other member of the forum who will be joining me on the sofa to cheer on Frank Lampard and Bradley Wiggins.

Definately. Think of the maths (and geography) involved in working out the TDF route  and the for/against goal averages

Unending merit. LOADS of maths (I mean it, really), quite a lot of biology (know more about collar bones than I ever did before...), TONS of geography and, as long as you watch the unedited stream live, history and trivia in buckets. Also, constant waves of men in lycra, the perfect back drop to an afternoons ironing or a session of jam making. Really.

I rather like football too...

Chapeau Marigold!!!
