School bus
Hi all,
I'd like to know if Parmitters, DAO and Queens Schools operate schools buses with scheduled stops at Elstree & Borehamwood area.
Any information will be very useful. Thanks

Re: School bus
Hi
Hope this info helps
I don't know anything about DAO School Bus system or if there are any normal buses which go from Borehamwood to Potters Bar, which would mean the long walk up the hill.
Parmiter's - There's a school bus which leaves Shenley at 7.30 and also picks-up in Borehamwood. Details can be found on the school website. I think the cost is approx £75 per month for 9 months by standing order
Queens. - There's a 896 School Bus which leaves Stirling Corner at approx 7.30 and picks up in Borehamwood and Elstree. The charge is half fare, If they have a Hertfordshire SaverCard (which costs £10). Not sure if there are any non school buses which go from Borehamwood to Queens. Otherwise it would be case of getting a Bus from Borehamwood in order to link into the 602 Bus route.

Re: School bus
Thanks, Ally.
Without a school bus system in place, parmitters couldn't be an option for my DD.

Re: School bus
For Parmiters, the school bus PS2 will take the following route in Spetember 2010:-
7.30 a.m. Shenley (Porter's Park)
7.40 Borehamwood
7.43 Shenley Road ( opposite Elstree studios)
7.45 Shenley Road ( by Furzehill Road turning)
7.48 Borehamwood (Theobald Street)
7.59 Park Street
.. arrives Parmiter's 8.25
and obviously the return journey, which arrives at Shenley (Porter's Park) at 4.20 pm
Hope this helps and good luck!
