Pate's gender balance
DD had the Pate's visit this week. It seems she is the only one who doesn't play an instrument!
DD asked some questions, one of which was to do with ratio of boys to girls.
This year it is 19 boys to 11 girls. She thinks that is throughout the whole year, but it could have been relating to the class she will be in.
Are our girls not entering??
Also, it seems there will be a second hand uniform sale 3pm - 6pm on the day of the parents evening.

Fear not Perplexed!! My DS doesn't know his oboe from his elbow! He can play the Playstation like a pro though...think he is Level 5
Nor is he sporty...but I do think he might make a good distance runner given half a chance.
I would suggest that the numbers you received were for her class as they add up to 30.
More boys than girls made the top 160 this year apparently
