Marks out of ten for the 2010 Rugby High School Open Evening?

Well, if it's anything like the 2009 open evening, it may not rate very highly! I think the school is fantastic, and I'm an Old Girl, but they didn't sell it well last year - particularly the Head.

My daughter was helping in Science. She had a lovely time!

I didn't go as went last year and I wasn't impressed.
I dislike Open Evenings anyway - I much prefer one to one or small groups tours as you get a much better feel of the school then.
What did you think?

Wife's comments (also an old girl... she would shoot me if I said that to her face).
The formal presentation was uninspiring and lacked creativity or imagination. It lacked flair. Some of the classroom displays were extremely dull. In many cases it was difficult to identify staff so engaging in useful conversation was difficult.
DD - it was poor because it was average and Harris was better. Harris was interactive and the High school was not.
Personally, I feel a bit let down after telling DD that RHS was so good, and when she visits, it is poor.

Agree with other posters last three years open evening has had zero charisma.
