Building Castles

Post by bestpossibleoutcome »

I'm sure I remember a thread some time ago about DCs having to build castles as school projects.
If you are likely to need to do this anytime in the future, there is a link from the BBC site to a set of
detailed instructions as to how this can be achieved. I've only glanced at this, but I'm sure it could be
adapted for other structures.

Good luck (delighted to be past that stage now!)

Sorry, should have thought of posting the link in the above post. I was laughing too
hard to think of it. :)

It looks just like the model I (sorry DS) made at the beginning of Y7.

Aaaahh still recovering from the castle  We still haven't got a mark for that.

OH and I got A* for a church, but a Gurdwara had to be knocked up in less than 12 hours, because DS had forgotten about it until the night before, OH was up til 1am finishing it. DS's only contribution - finding a picture on the internet :!:

I was very smug when I read the original thread on castles when my daughter was in year 6 as I knew it would be one piece of homework she wouldn't need help with (she has the genetic blueprint of a Blue Peter presenter). I have been most disappointed this year by the non-appearance of the castle homework.
