15 Sept.6 pm.West Kent super selectives' Adjudicator Meeting
On the 15th September at 6 pm. there will be a public meeting at TWGSB with the Schools' Adjudicator about the admissions policies at these three schools.
People from BOTH SIDES of the debate are invited to express their views. The Schools' Adjudicator is well aware that the majority of people who turn up to such meetings are objectors who want policies to change, and that there is generally very little representation from those who want policies to stay the same.
SO GET YOURSELF DOWN THERE WHICHEVER SIDE YOU ARE ON.
You can also write to the Schools' Adjudicator whichever side you are on (contact details on their websites). SO WRITE TO THEM TOO, WHICHEVER SIDE YOU ARE ON
KCC has also objected to the policies of the superselectives. You should be able to obtain a copy of their objection from the Schools' Adjudicator (contact details on their website).
My own personal impression so far is that this would appear from what I have read on here, the local press, and Michael Fallon MPs website that this seems to have turned into a bit of a "local schools for local people" type of campaign, with no great thought as yet as to what "local" means, or what undesirable effect different changes in policy could have on children from more outlying areas both within and outside Kent.

Re: 15 sept, West Kent super selectives admissions, adjudica
Mods, do you think the relevant bits of this could be turned into a sticky, as well as leaving this as a thread please? Also, there is an old sticky about a consultation process a long time ago that could be deleted at top of Kent section please?

Update:
I've now merged the two threads from this point on.
Please add any further posts to "judd, skinners and togs enquiry into admissions policies".
