Alty entrance exam!
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone is becoming stressed out with the Alty exam looming up - in 2 weeks time. I guess many parents are giving their ds's more work or is it just me. I mean, my ds is not in the least worried, he probs will be on the day, its just me and this is just the beginning!!!

Re: Alty entrance exam!
Hi Yunny
We are winding down now, have worked hard over summer, right up to yesterday and have now told ds he is all ready, our preparation is complete and he should be fine (with my fingers crossed of course!). We will just do a little bit each weekday evening (15 mins) until the middle of next week to keep him ticking over. Main thing now is to keep the nerves at bay (his). Mine will kick in after the exam. Went through this with dd last year and found waiting for the results by far the worst bit!
Good luck!

Thanks Traffordmum, getting really worried now but I keep telling myself he is well prepared so hopefully should be fine.
Hello Ermintrude, yes I would say my son is well prepared now, I have just been giving him little bits to do everyday after school (poor thing is sooooo sick of it, but happy to do it tho Very best of luck to your son on the 18th!
And finally Tiddlymum, hope everything went well for your son on his first day, did you shed a few tears? hope he made lots of new friends
