Girls sorry ................
Re: Challoners Open Day
Sorry Nia, can’t help directly then as don’t have a DC there, but I seem to remember that they park you round the back on the fields…
I’m sure you could just ring and ask for a prospectus/application form to be sent, but I’d strongly recommend a visit as the school has quite a distinct ‘feel’ to it – it’s very girly – which some girls will love and others will hate.
Good luck with your various applications.

I have seen some of your postings on the Hertfordshire forum and I thought you mentioned you live in Harrow. To get into Dr Challoner's your DD will need to have sat and passed the Bucks 11+ exam which is quite soon, I think. If the school is oversubscribed then priority is given to girls who live in the catchment area. I don't know for sure but I would have thought that the possibility of your DD being allocated a place from Harrow is very slim.

Re: Challoners Open Day
Nia, there is no point wasting a choice on Challoner's if you are out of catchment AND you don't put it first choice.
Frankly I wouldn't suggest listing it if you are out of catchment, but if you do, you must put it first to have even a tiny chance of a place. It's not unusual for a few girls who are in catchment and put if first choice not to get in.
