Waiting List - Over subcribed School

I have found out today that my son is secound on the waiting list for our first choice school (indepdant) I am so happy as it looks like we have a good chance I think???

I live right across the road from the school and I have read the Apprals Q&A page. Is this what I base my appeal on? Can someone advise please!

Encouraging news Worried Mom, there certainly is a lot of shuffling about going on now - I'd be feeling very positive in your position.

I think your chance is very good even without appeal. My son got into his highly selective independent a few years back when he was 12th on the list. Good luck.

Thanks for the support and I really do hope it works out, I really need some advise on what grounds to base my appeal on. Would you recomend contacting the School Head Teacher??? Anyone else got any advise on this one as it is a faith school and we are not of that faith??
