Anyone getting fed up of school season?
Maybe it's just me but I'm getting fed up of all these school programmes, which is a real surprise to me as I used to...ahem....eat, sleep and breath schools!
Anyone else?

I enjoy the programmes relevant to me (ie. choosing secondery schools), and those with Gareth in, but ignore rest. Also, I also enjoy the boarding schools programmes as I've never experienced this and like to see how they operate. Actually, thinking about it, I'm also enjoying Waterloo Road.

We luuuuurve Waterloo Road It's the only programme the whole family sits down together and watches.

I was talking about the Docs but maybe Waterloo Road is more factual than them!

Not according to my neighbours (who are both teachers).

Hate all the boring factual programmes selecting extreme situations and scaremongering. Love Wat Rd, glad its back, we all love it in our house. Far prefer fabrications to any form of reality, that's what the telly's for

Quite the opposite hereLooking for help wrote:Far prefer fabrications to any form of reality, that's what the telly's for
Prefer all the reality junk and I dont even know when I last watched a movie or soap on TV.
Was there another program on the school seasons yesterday?
Impossible is Nothing.

Yes with part 2 tonight.
I watched part 1 on iplayer last night out of boredom but really enjoyed it. Some professor using a class as guinea pigs for all the educational ideas he's had over the years. The kids are keen but there's resistance from teachers at first (a la Gareth) but I can see his point that the kids that put up their hands are the ones that know the answers & are confident, leaving the others out to lose even more confidence in case they get it wrong.
I will definitely be watching tonight.

Do people think 'The Inbetweeners' is appropriate for a Y8 boy? I let my eldest watch it as he says that it is the new show that all the boys at school are talking about. But then caught my Y8 watching it.
