Re: Kindle..
I want one! I want to be able to take all my books with me when I work. I am sure I will get used to not turning pages. Just need someone to tell my husband. Please.

Excellent, Bromley (Bramley) Mum. I think we will have plenty to talk about! Will it be Rebecca, Mockingbird, A Woman in White ... ?
Complete works of Shakespeare and the Bible are given as basics of course ...

I'll be with the book brigade too.
Love the smell, feel and the whole going to the bookshop and buying a new book. It's a guilty pleasure. We are very lucky to have a local independent bookshop here and it's brilliant - I could spend hours in there. I love going to the library and coming out with a huge pile of books to work my way through. But the best thing is opening a new book and hearing the spine crack.
Brings back such childhood memories. My mum used to work on a Saturday morning so dad used to take me to the bookshop every Saturday morning for a new Mary Mouse book and we then used to go to the teashop next door for a buttered scone and a green bottle of Zing!
My idea of heaven would have been to own a bookshop.
Better stop now!
