access to verbal reasoning score

Hi, my daughter recently sat the selection tests at caistor grammar, we received the letter stating she had not been successful, we were absolutely stunned as our daughter felt very confident after each paper and at school has been nominated gifted and talented in her primary school. We appreciate that all parents feel their child is a genius but this was totally unexpected. We wrote to the headmaster asking if it was possible to know her score, that was 3 weeks ago and we have not had a reply. Does anybody know how or if its possible to have access to her score, it would hopefully clarify things for us and also for our daughter who feels the tests went very well.

Hi - I have great sympathy for you, but unfortunately, am the deliverer of bad news.

The school are under no obligation, legally, to release your child's score to you until, either four months from the time you first make the request, or when the school results are published - whichever comes sooner. So, basically you will only be able to glean that information from them after National Offer day on 1st March.

If the school choose to tell you they could, of course, but if they absolutely refuse to - for reasons known only to themselves - you cannot find out your child's score.

We had to provide information of our primary school and they were given all the results and each papers results were broken down too.

We are in a different area to you but it's worth a try.
