21 Days and counting till Tiffin Exam...............

It has just occurred to me that there is only 21 days left to the exam. DS has started to really focus and get into the swing and understand the fact that this really is his last year at primary and no matter what happen he has to leave.

How is the preparation going? Are you DC still motivated?

Just realised after seeing your post....Can't beleive.... days passed so quickly....nearly there!! my son too seems to do well doing his practice papers...we are running out of NVR material though...any suggestions? Let me know and Good Luck with your preparations too!

Yes, us too! We are trying to work on vocabulary, not sure what else to improve really?! He has got the method and technique mastered really well, I fear the interest will fizz out!

The NVR section on this site is very useful for guidance on what others have been doing for preparation.

We are doing bond again and will DO nfer over the next few weeks.

The Walsh papers are a good resource, however they do use BODMAS which is not required for ther real test and in their 3rd set of papers they have included a rogue type of question which is not used for the Tiffin / 21 types of questions.

They can be used in conjunction with other publishers to get a good cross section of difficulty

Just to change the subject a little, does anyone know if the bond 11+ -12+ nvr is similar to the Tiffin exam difficulty? i.e dc has mentioned its similarity after sitting the test and not access to past paper.
