Number of children passing in each state school

Post by drummer »

The following may be of interest and is based on the latest (2006) data.

Number of children passing as a percentage of children on Y6 roll. I included those who opted not to take the test as schools vary significantly in whether they encourage children to take the test.

I also did not include “successful appeals” 1) because the number is often only given as “<5 “ and 2) because schools have again very different attitudes and provide varying levels of support to appeals.

The following list is in alphabetical order and includes schools where 5 or more children passed.

Name of school - % pass out of all on Y6 role - Ranking within this list

Is this based on children who sat the test in October 2005 (i.e this year's year 7) or on children who sat the test in October 2006 (i.e this year's year 6)?

How did you put the data together?
