waiting lists

hi everyone
can you tell me if we automatically go on the waiting list for our first choice school. i called the school but they will not have a waiting list until the 21st of march.
thanks for your replies in advance . im new to this !! what a nightmare xx

If it is a community or voluntary controlled school in Herts, then yes.

If it is a foundation or voluntary aided school or an academy, then probably, but you need to check with the school.

Live out of county, want to go on CD waiting list, is there any hope?

If you mean Clement Danes it has no catchment area so if you have a good exam mark you have a great chance of getting in. DG

If you're trying to get in on academic or music, it depends on your scores, not where you live.

If you're trying to get in on distance, according to the FAQ on their website the last places went to WD3 applicants up to 3125m away (as the crow flies). There's a bit more of WD3 to go before they go outside.
