LGS or BGS

LGS or BGS
Hi, first time posting but probably not last.
We live in between LGS and BGS and my son will sit the 11+ later this year. I have already been to see both these schools and am impressed with them equally.
My son's favourite subjects are Maths and Science but I am a bit confused as to what I should put down as my 1st and 2nd choice on the CAF.
Overall, LGS has better GCSE and A level results but BGS being a Science specialist school should do more for Science based subjects? Or, does LGS provide equally good Science success?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry......... I don't know much about the difference between the schools. LGS seems to achieve a constant high standard in pretty much all subjects. I haven't heard much being said against it.
BGS is a good science school......a son of a friend went to BGS and went on to becaome a Vet.....one of the hardest courses to get on to.
I think you should go with your instinct....go round the schools.... talk to current pupils and see what is your sons real preference.
