Learning Labs Guyon Books

Post by ontarget »

Hi I am going to purchase the Learning Labs verbal reasoning books.
The yellow and blue books are called "introductory" and the green and red books are not "introductory".

Can someone explain the difference between the introductory and non-introductory books? Is the level of the non-introductory books more like the real test and are the introductory books at an easier level? Is it worth buying all 4 or just the two non-introductory ones?

Thanks for your help.

Dear Ontarget

Firstly which school/area are you applying for?

The introductory Learning lab are not that much easier than the non intorductory, particularly in repect of the vocabularly.

Whether you use all 4 or just the non introductory will depend on which publishers you have already used and how much time you have left between now and the real test.

Personally I only use Learning Lab as work within my sessions not as tests.

Hi Patricia,

It is for Ilford County High School in December. So far I have bought the NFER tests, the IPS papers and Susan Daughtrey.
