Re: Sats done, 11+ done but CAT's to come
Let him enjoy his little moment in the sun and then start talking to him about CAT's. Your new school might even stream on the CAT's results so he needs to take them seriously. My dd has hers on the 29th June, interestingly DAO has brought them forward three months this year. It seems they want their own results for sorting out the classes, not what they get from the primary schools. DG
Re: Sats done, 11+ done
He sounds like some of the children in my class, who asked earlier in the week if: 'that was it then with the work Miss when the tests are done?'
I broke it to them that SATs week was the rest week, (a test or two (Tuesday / Wednesday only) each day, then lots of Art and P.E. DVD and party on Friday), and that next week the real work starts as we get them ready for secondary school through doing the WW2 topic, extended pieces of work and applying in different situations everything they've learned in writing and maths. Oh, plus some Shakespeare.
I'm not really a witch, they generally do seem to like it!
