Oh Belinda, it's a horrible time. We are only in the middle of AS's which finish on Thursday, but I remember form the last 2 years how horrible A2s are. Good luck

Actually tbh, having been on the end of a bad 11+ result and a bad set of A Level results, I actually think the 11+ wins as the worst thing, if it helps :D. Bad A Level results can be fixed or alternatives sought :D as we know, but an 11+ result apprently can never be reversed :(

my son is so laid back about his A2s that I think I might welcome a bit of panic from him...

Oh don't worry Belinda, :D I'm not worried any more, I think we have been taught very valuable lessons during our children's education, that make us stronger, and actually more sensible. In fact the lesson learned last year with poorer than expected A Level results made us realise that some things though sent to try us, actually are not the end of the world. My daughter is studying part time for a degree which has been sponsored by a large company, so she actually doing very well, although in fairness, we had a rather black Thursday last August. The knock on effect is that with my next two, I am actually putting on way less pressure myself. The third one is doing AS's and she has worked hard and for that alone I am proud, and very happy. If she gets good grades, well that will be a bonus :D

Yoyo - you I think are the youngest on here :D , Belinda, when you see me, you will understand I have a dry sense of humour, and am neither youthful nor full or wisdom :D, but am just enjoying the banter :D
