Test Papers
Hi,
I have sent a message to the appeals box.
Do you think it would be appropriate to ask for these questions to be looked at again, or should I just trust that what they say is correct?
If dd has made a mistake and has actually missed them, I don't want to stir up any bad feeling.

Re: Test Papers
Hi ofsoundmind
Could you let us know if the paper was multiple choice, and whether the answer sheet was separate from the question booklet?
I am asking because what can happen is that a child might work out the answer to the question but then simply omit to mark the answer sheet.
I can't see any reason why you shouldn't ask for them to be looked at again, and it shouldn't stir up bad feeling. You can simply say that you want to be absolutely certain of what happened and would appreciate someone looking at them again for that reason.

I agree with S-A.
I think I would be concerned by their wording "It must have been because ......."
Either it was or it wasn't!
Assuming your appeal hasn't taken place yet, I think it would be reasonable for you to ask for the answers to be checked, and for a definitive answer to be made available in time for the hearing.

Re: Test Papers
Thanks Sally-Anne,
I have sent details to the appeals box.
I see what you mean about working it out and not entering it and yes perhaps this did happen.
I think though, especailly if we are unsuccessful, that I might always be asking 'what if?'
Thanks for your advice.

Re: Test Papers
I have posted the actual wording to the appeals box.
I agree with you both and think I will ask for these two questions to rechecked.
I wasn't sure if it was just me be over-anxious.
Thanks Both.

Hi
I still think it would be reasonable to ask for a check to be made - in the light of what your child says.

Yes, I will ask if it's possible.
Sometimes you feel like you're just clutching at straws, but it would be good to get clarification.
This site has been invaluable when looking for help and advice. I wish I'd found it a lot, lot earlier!
Thanks All

Hi,
I have sent some new information to the appeals box.
Please could someone advise if this in normal practice?
Many Thanks.
