D

Days of the week start with S M T W T F S

Wednesday starts with the letter W which is the letter nearest to the end of the alphabet.

The letter in Wednesday which is nearest the letter C is D

Is that seriously in an 11+ paper in 2011? That's absurd. That's the sort of thing that brings "intelligence testing" into (quite legitimate) disrepute.

Agreed, it's certainly dated - our DCs wouldn't be able to answer that one, even though their dad is in the TA! I don't think GL Assessment would use this in the real tests.

This type can sometimes be found in areas using VR in standard form. They were once found in the Bucks test pre multiple choice.

When was that? I took the 12+ in 75 or 76, and I'm sure it was multiple choice then! Could be wrong though.
