New addition to 11+ papers
Does anyone know if anything new has been added to the 11+ exam for QEHS Gainsborough. A parent told me yesterday that something that had never been on before was going to be but wouldn't say what (!)

I have not heard anything about any of the schools in the Consortium changing their exams or planning to do so when becoming Academies. The Boston schools have removed themselves from the Consortium though I understand they are still setting the same NfER tests but using raw scores and a different pass mark.
I would imagine that the main exams will stay the same or change for all schools in the Consortium together, though some schools do have additional tests which are used purely for distinguishing between children on the same score where the school uses score order as one of its admissions criteria. I thought QEHS have been saying that they had no immediate plans for changing the admissions policy if and when they become an academy.
Do keep us all posted with developments. Your ears are clearly closer to the ground than mine.
