New Labelling of CDs
Hello
The CDs that are available for purchase from the site have been re-labelled, so some of the previous postings relating to the old labelling system might be confusing.
The old labelling system was based on ElevenPlusExams.co.uk system of numbering CDs as they were published.
Verbal Reasoning
CD1 The Tutors
CD2 Learning Together
CD3 The Tutors
CD4 Tution for You
Mathematics
CD1 The Tutors
The new system is based on numbering the CDs by author of the content
Verbal Reasoning
CD1 Learning Together
CD1 Tution for You
CD1 The Tutors
CD2 The Tutors
Mathematics
CD1 The Tutors
Any previous references to The Tutors Verbal Reasoning CD3 should now be read as The Tutors Verbal Reasoning CD2.
It is important that although the titles refers to the authors of the content, the author and creator of the software, charts, etc is ElevenPlusExams.co.uk.
Regards
Mike

Hi,
There is writing in red under each new title giving the former names. Thus the previous CDs sold by Mike (called Eleven Plus Exams Verbal Reasoning Volume 1 and Volume 3) are now sold as The Tutors Verbal Reasoning CD 1 and CD 2 (respectively). CD 1 contains 50 practice questions in all 21 types of questions and CD2 contains 12 papers consisting of 100 questions each. The 12 papers contain all 21 types of questions found in the Bucks, Wirral etc exams.

Whilst most LEA's use NFER there are some that use other publishers like Mooray or Athey, some that even write their own. For example in Hertfordshire Watford Grammar and its consortium of other Herts schools last year, for the first time, used Mooray (without notice). Meanwhile in another part of Hertsfordshire (Barnet) schools still use NFER.
The confusion is compounded by the fact that even within the regions that use NFER there are some that use all 21 types of questions and others that use the 'normal' 15 types. These are the 15 types found in their practice papers sold in the shops and on this website. Some regions have this year asked NFER to create a hybrid paper (part Verbal Reasoning and part Non-Verbal Reasoning). The mix of question types in those is not yet known.
Thus not only can subregions within counties have variations, exams be changed with without notice but there are differences within number of types of questions too.
I expect this is why the authors have not assigned specific regions for CD titles.
